Coffee & Sweets Tour on the Amazing Victory Avenue

Calea Victoriei, once known as “Podul Mogosoaiei,” earned its current name after the 1877-1878 war, which secured Romania’s long-sought independence from the Ottoman Empire. Over the years, Victory Avenue has evolved into one of the city’s most elegant promenades, adorned with luxurious, French-inspired hotels, charming coffee shops, and patisseries that echo Bucharest’s Belle Époque era.

On this delightful tour, you’ll  have the chance to brew your own specialty cappuccino, indulge in traditional cakes and pastries, and marvel at architectural treasures such as the Royal Palace, the Romanian Athenaeum, and the CEC Palace. Your English or Spanish-speaking guide will tell you captivating anecdotes about Bucharest’s coffee culture and sweet traditions, influenced by French and Ottoman legacies, as well as the challenges of communism. Additionally, we will explore the renowned “Umbrella Street” and capture stunning photos of Bucharest’s most iconic landmarks.
